Parliament votes for stricter EU waste rules
The European parliament adopted a tougher than expected first reading position on a revision of EU waste rules on Tuesday, to the delight of environmentalists. The assembly also adopted its position on the European commission’s linked thematic strategy on waste. We will report on this vote in tomorrow’s edition.
